I first found my passion for Pilates when I was 17 years of age, while training to become a dancer. It was used as part of my regular dance training, to help strengthen and align my body. Previously I loved dancing and had planned to have a career performing. However, after years of Pilates training I discovered that Pilates was the true love of mine. I studied with ‘Body Control Pilates’ who are based in central London. They are renowned for being the top Pilates teacher training providers worldwide, developing the very best of Pilates instructors. I have years upon years of experience, and really enjoy seeing the significant changes in clients bodies and functionality within a few weeks of training, the results always amaze me.
Pilates is an exercise and movement designed by Joseph Pilates to strengthen, align, stretch, and balance the body. By connecting the mind and body, you will be able to change and align your structure for functional movement. It is a full body exercise which uses core strength to control movements. Whether you want to correct your posture, sculpt your muscles, or lengthen your body – the sky is the limit when it comes to Pilates.
